MY PLEDGE FOR NATURE
BIRDS
Many of our garden bird species are in decline. They are losing their habitats due to environmental devastation. We can help them thrive by providing birdboxes for nesting and birdfeeders.
Pledge 1 – Provide a bird feeder
The RSPB recommends having food available for birds all year round. Birds also need fresh water. Bird feeders can be easily made from household recyclables.

Pledge 2 – Provide a bird box
There is a shortage of natural nesting sites, which is thought to be one of the major factors behind the decline of some of our once most-common birds. Buying or making a bird box gives birds a sheltered place to nest. Be aware that species like different size entrances.
